About Us

About Us

Energ♀ze strives to create a healthy atmosphere that promotes a comfortable and positive environment for females to enhance their athletic ability and learn more about a healthy lifestyle. Our goal is to allow women to gain confidence in the gym and in their own body. Whether it be meetings where members work out together to create a comfortable environment and getting trainers to teach proper lifting form, or bringing in someone from the wellness center to talk about mental health or dieticians to discuss better eating habits.

Most anyone can join: if you identify as female or are apart of the LGBTQ+ (trans, non-binary).

My name is Kyra Feinauer (Keera Finehour) and I am double majoring in Biology and Spanish with the goal to attend graduate school and become a PA. I am a part of the St. Mary's Volleyball team and my dad taught me how to lift my junior year of high school. I have fallen more and more in love with lifting ever since and wanted to share my love for a healthy and happy lifestyle.

Class of 2023

My name is Celina Kaufman and I am double majoring in Biology and Neuroscience. After graduating from St. Mary's, I plan to attend graduate school to become a PA or PT. I am a member of the SMCM field hockey team, which is how I was introduced to lifting. Throughout the past few years, I have gained confidence in the weight room and have loved the process of looking and feeling stronger. It is my goal to involve others in not only physical fitness, but healthy eating, thinking, and overall lifestyle.

Class of 2023

I’m Kenzie, I’m a public policy major with a business minor and am a part of the varsity rowing team. I started lifting my senior year of high school because I needed a gym credit and the lifting class was the only class available. I ended up loving it because of how it made me feel both physically and mentally, so I stuck with it. Fun fact: during my senior year I entered a powerlifting competition and won 3rd place for my weight class.
